Millions of people purchased the DVD and the book and the teachers appeared on numerous TV shows, including Larry King and Oprah (twice).
Many people have changed their lives using the principles taught in the Secret. But there was also much controversy. Some said it was just another way for the teachers to get rich by promising the people who bought the DVD everything they ever wanted. Then there were the people who wanted to believe and tried to live according to the principles, only to find out their lives didn’t change.
You can find numerous discussions on the internet wether the Secret is the real deal or not.

So, is the Secret the real deal?

It is, but … you can only put a certain amount of information in a 90 minute movie. The part that wasn’t stressed on enough in the Secret was that you have to take action towards your goals and dreams. You can’t lay on the couch all day thinking and visualizing you are going to win the lottery and expect that you are actually going to win it.

James Ray, one of the teachers of the Secret teaches in his seminars the ‘going three for three’ method. This means that if you want to achieve a goal you have to change your thinking towards achieving your goal, feeling like you have already achieved it AND taking action.

The people who said the Secret changed their life probably where working hard already. Adding the principles of the Secret guarantees success.
Those who said the Secret didn’t work probably left out the taking action part.

But now there is beyond the Secret

The teachers of Beyond the Secret say that they are aware of the shortcomings of the first edition and that this sequel will provide viewers with a complete plan to realize their dreams. Even in this economy. Sounds great, doesn’t it! I can’t wait to see it!
